For the EA & Rationalist Community
EA & Mental Health
I work closely with the Effective Altruism and rationalist communities — not just as a therapist, but as someone who understands the unique pressures, philosophical frameworks, and decision-making patterns that come with this work.
I am a member of a small international group of therapists who meet to collaborate specifically on the treatment of EAs. I believe mental health is one of the most tractable ways to improve wellbeing, and I bring that conviction to both my clinical practice and my organizational work.

Why This Matters
People in the EA and rationalist communities often carry a distinctive set of pressures — the weight of cause prioritization, moral uncertainty, burnout from high-impact work, and the cognitive load of trying to think clearly about problems that genuinely matter. These are real challenges that benefit from professional support.
My approach combines the evidence-based clinical methods I use with all my clients — CBT, ACT, Feedback-Informed Treatment — with a genuine understanding of the community context. You don't need to explain what effective altruism is or why you care about it. We can get straight to the work.
